Rubbish must not be stored in the corridors at any time. If you intend to take your rubbish with you when you go out, leave it standing in your room until you actually leave.
We sort residual waste and paper/cardboard. This must be disposed of in the right container.
Glass, metal and other waste must be disposed of at collection points designed for this. The closest to you will be Coop Prix, BRA Veien 55.
Weekly cleaning check
- Weekly cleaning should include:
- Emptying the rubbish (you should of course being doing this regularly)
- Kitchen counters and cupboards
- Cookers and hobs
- Kitchen sink and taps
- General tidying of the area
- We recommend that you talk with those you are sharing with and draw up agreed routines. This contributes to a good, clean living environment.
- We don’t check studio apartments or couple’s apartments.
Carried out once a semester. In the autumn semester this inspection will be carried out in November and in the spring semester it will be carried out in May (before 17 May).
To do lists will be distributed to each room by SiØ. You are responsible for the tasks assigned to your room. Feel free to switch tasks internally, although you will still be responsible for the tasks originally assigned to you.

SiØ puts starter packs in shared units. These include:
- Mop handle
- Some soap
Soap and cloths will not be refilled. Tenants are responsible for buying these. The starter packs are meant to get you started when you move in, in August.
If there is no central vacuum cleaning system where you live and you want a vacuum cleaner, you will have to provide this yourself (there are central vacuum cleaner systems in Nye Remmen and Bjølstad 4).

When you move out your entire unit must be cleaned and you must always arrange a time for a cleaning inspection. You can arrange this via email@example.com
