You will find the laundry in the cellar between Buildings C and D. You can get a laundry card from SiØ’s office.
Each laundry card comes with a pre-defined username and password. You can change these yourself.
The laundry has five washing machines and five tumble dryers. One of each is extra-large so you can wash sleeping bags, duvets, etc.
Read this before using the laundry.
In order to use the laundry you must:
Have a laundry card with a username and password
Log in and transfer money from your credit card
Use the laundry card to start the machine you have reserved (the machines are fitted with card readers)
After picking up your laundry card
Follow this link. You will be asked for your username and password. Use the pre-defined username and password until you have changed them.
After logging in you’ll see this page:
Clicking on ‘Change Login Details’ will take you to this page:
Enter your new username and password and then click on ‘OK’. You’ll be asked to log in again.
Reservations
You can reserve machines between 07:00 and 22:00. PS! You can use the card in the laundry without reserving a machine, but only if you choose washing/drying programmes that will finish before the next reservation starts. Therefore, if you lose your card, it is important to log in and transfer the money from your laundry account back to your bank account. Machines cannot be reserved between 22:00 and 07:00.
If you do not use one or more of the machines/times you have reserved, you will be charged a fee of NOK 25. No charge will be made for reservations cancelled before their start time. You must cancel at least 1 hour before the reserved time was due to start.
You can reserve two machines up to two weeks in advance.
Account/deposits
You must have money in your ‘account’ in order to reserve machines. The money will not be transferred to the laundry card. It will be held in your web account. Therefore, if you lose your laundry card, you have to log in to the laundry pages and select ‘Refund or Return Cash to Account’. Your money will then be returned to the account number it was deposited from.
Lost cards/found cards
If you lose your card, NOK 100 will be added to your next rent bill to replace it. Found cards must be handed to the caretaker. If you lose your card, we recommend that you transfer the cash left on the card back.
