Food allergens and labelling in SiØ Diners
According to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority’s regulations on food allergies, all places that serve food must provide information about the content of 14 different allergens in their food. Products that are labelled by the producer do not need further labelling, but we label all of the food and drinks we make ourselves.
This is an important area to which we pay constant attention.
You will always find gluten-free and dairy-free products in our outlets. If you can’t find something suitable for you, the staff will always be happy to help. We adjust to your needs.
Our main message is: Ask us if you have any doubts or want anything special. We can usually help.
See the Norwegian Food Safety Authority’s website for more information about allergy labelling.
The easiest way is to book on our web pages here. Click on ‘Book Appointment’ and follow the instructions. You can also stop by during our drop-in hour, which is from 12:00 - 13:00 every day, on both campuses.
Dental costs can make a big dent in tight student finances. Meanwhile, dentists charge different prices, so you can save money by shopping around a bit. The hvakostertannlegen.no website is a good place to start.
It’s also worth noting that if you are aged 19-20, you can get dental treatment at one of the county authority’s dental clinics for a patient charge of just 25%. See Østfold County Authority’s website under: Tannhelse (‘Dental health’.
Unfortunately, SiØ has no refund scheme for dental costs.
