Registering a wish to change homes is done at unialltid. Once you have logged in you will find ‘Change Housing’ on the left-hand side of the page.
You are welcome to apply to switch to another type of home or a specific room after you have moved in.
If you are approved of a room through an exchange application:
You will receive an exchange fee of 500 NOK.
You will have access as soon as the home you are going into is ready.
You will be able to use the same card / code in a new room.
If you travel away during the changeover period, you must pack your things and clean the dormitory before you leave.
We prioritize exchange applications registered before 15 April for the autumn semester, and 15 November for the spring semester.
Applications that come after these deadlines will be processed for available capacity for housing.
All units must be vacated and fully cleaned by 12 noon on the last day of the contract. That means, you must be there on the day so that you can change over after being given the okay by us. We recommend that you pack and fully clean the unit as well as you can before moving so that there will not be much left to clean once you have moved your things.
No, if you will be away during the period you have to move, you must pack your things and clean your former unit before you leave. If you do not have storage space, you can arrange this and put your things there. Remember to arrange a time for us to check that your former unit has been properly cleaned before you leave.
If we know that no new tenant will be moving into your former unit before the 1st, then it is possible. You must arrange it with us. If a new tenant will be moving into your former unit on the 1st, then you must vacate it on the 30th/31st.
You do not need to register your card again. Your student card/code will be updated with access to your new unit. If you need a physical key for your unit, you will need to pick it up from our office or make alternative arrangements.
